1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Location Data

• We collect your precise GPS location when you use the app
• Location is used to show nearby bars and venues on the map
• Location is used to automatically check you in at venues you visit
• You can revoke location access at any time in iPhone Settings

1.2 Account Data

• We use Firebase anonymous authentication — no email, phone number, or name is required to use the app
• An anonymous user ID is created automatically when you first open the app
• You may optionally set a display name and username, which are visible to other users

1.3 Social Data

• We store a list of users you choose to follow
• We show your friends your check-in venue when you are checked in
• You control who you follow and can unfollow at any time

1.4 Photos

• Photos you upload to venue profiles are publicly visible to all Cheers users
• Photos include metadata: timestamp, location, and crowd level at time of upload
• Do not upload photos containing personal information you want kept private or photos of others without their consent
